As we all adjust to a new way of life due to COVID-19, businesses - especially Real Estate! - must innovate if they are to successfully continue making their services availabl while keeping the public safe. Since real estate is normally an ‘in-person’ business, my team and I have expanded our use of available technologies in order to best help our clients: phone, text, messaging, Zoom, Skype, social media platforms, virtual showings, Open Houses, Webinars. We offer 3-D tours of our listings, using Matterport technology, and my live Open House events take you on a tour of the listing, while I answer your questions in real-time. It’s so much fun! I love it! We’re so lucky to have such ready-and-able technology, and The Rick Moore Group is taking full advantage of it so that our real estate services are accessible to everyone.


So is it realistic to try to buy/sell a home right now? The answer is a confident YES.  Throughout this pandemic, following safety guidelines and social distancing protocol, I’ve been helping clients successfully buy/sell real estate. If you’re thinking about buying a home - and there are a lot of good reasons people need to move right now - but you’re feeling a little paralyzed, we’re here to walk you through the new process. We start by answering all of your questions about the current market, and presenting you with all the options you had before the pandemic - deciding what kind of house/property fits your needs, financing, showings, inspections; we can get all that done and more. We’ll use text, phone, Skype, Zoom - I am more than happy to meet you where you are, using the platform that works for you. So far, every one of my clients has been able to easily communicate with me at their convenience, get the information they’re looking for, discuss and view options, and proceed through the buying/selling phase with success.


Interested in an Open House Tour? Check out my Facebook Live and Zoom events. These platforms allow you to ‘tour’ the house from the comfort of your own home, and - since this is a live event - you can ask specific questions about what you’re seeing as I go through each room, or just ask general questions about real estate, which I’ll answer in real-time. It’s the next best thing to being there yourself! Okay, so let’s say you’ve narrowed down your search and you’re ready to see a specific house - how does that work? If you want a virtual tour, we’ll use Matterport to create a 3-D immersive online experience that allows you to walk through and view the home, much as you would in person. Want to see the home in-person? We’ll make an appointment and I’ll meet you there; I’ll bring sanitizing wipes, we’ll all wear masks and gloves, and remain a safe 6 feet apart. I can show you the home, one person at a time. Back outside, we can discuss any questions you might have and/or talk further by phone, text, etc.

These webinars will cover buying, selling, investing, the current real estate market, and much more. We’ll have Casey Porter (Caliber Home Loans) as a special guest to teach you about financing and answer your questions.
