Free Days At Washington State Parks 2018

Washington State Parks has announced the following free days for 2018, when the Discover Pass will not be required to visit a state park.  

January 1st — First Day Hikes; New Year’s Day
January 15th — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
March 19 — State Park’s 105th birthday
April 14  — Spring day
April 22 — Earth Day
June 2 — National Trails Day
June 9 — National Get Outdoors Day
June 10 — Fishing Day
August 25 — National Park Service 102st Birthday
September 29 — National Public Lands Day
November 11 — Veterans Day
November 23 — Autumn day


Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities), A Discover Pass will still be required on these days to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
